Patch Notes

1. User Account Information

• Users are now required to specify their country of residence before listing a property.
• This information is collected in the personal info form and can later be edited in My Profile → Account Info.

2. Create Listing Flow

• On first login, users must provide basic personal info (name, email, phone number, country).
• This step is required before listing a property and is triggered by the "List your place now" button.
• Data can be updated anytime in My Profile → Account Info.

3. Guest Reviews

• Guests can now leave reviews after completing a stay.
• Reviews become available only after the check-out date.
• Each listing now shows its average rating and includes a new Reviews section below the description.
• All user-submitted and pending reviews can be managed in My Profile → Reviews.

4. Test Payments & Bookings

• You can now complete test payments using the Pi Testnet wallet.
• Bookings made during this phase are stored and shown under My Profile → Bookings.
• All booking information (prices, availability, dates) are for test purposes only and do not represent real stays.
• This feature is part of our simulation phase and helps users understand the full booking process from start to finish.

5. Home Search & Filters

• The date picker now requires selecting at least two calendar days (min. 1 night) and displays dates in YYYY-MM-DD format.
• The search on the home page forwards any filled inputs (location, dates, guests) to listings.html and applies them as filters.
• On the listings page, the Apply Filters and Clear Filters buttons are only visible when the filter panel is open.

6. Listings & Availability Rules

• URL parameters (location, guests, date range) now prefill the listings filter and immediately narrow the results.
• Availability checks are time-zone safe (no UTC shifts). Booked nights are handled as: check-in inclusive, check-out exclusive.
• Calendar logic updated: we only block selections that would create two single-day gaps around your stay (i.e., you’d leave exactly one free day on both sides). One-sided 1-day gaps are allowed; same-day turnover remains supported.
• Calendar visuals: unavailable nights are shown in red, available nights in green.

7. Profile → Booking Details

• The booking details modal has been redesigned to a clean table layout (consistent with Payment Summary).
• Check-in and Check-out are now shown explicitly above the location.
• The full Booking ID is displayed without truncation (monospaced for readability).

Status:
Testnet – Patch v1.2 is now live for all users as of August 2025.

⚠️Currently all data regarding Accommodation are Testdata and have the purpose for visuality only. This includes: Pictures, Location, Price and Reviews. Which can be only booked as Tests using Test-Pi.
